About

My workshop is located in Montreuil France where I work on modeling alongside other ceramicists. I first discovered clay through an extracurricular activity when I was a child.I then pursued higher education, delving deeper into what initially fascinated me.
With a degree in psychoanalytic psychology, I wrote my master's thesis on maternity, focusing on the transmission of experience between women. Alongside my student life, I discovered ceramic practice and uncovered a second passion (which has since become mymain activity as well as acting). I believe that the connection between the two is significant. Reconnecting with the Earth through analytical writing on such a primitive and nature-related work as pregnancy and childbirth. Working with clay represents introspection, listening to oneself, to the material, respect, and the transmission of one nature to another.
Craftsmanship takes on a special, unique place and stands in contrast to mass consumption and unicity. It is important to me to handcraft each of my pieces, giving them a unique, raw, and imperfect character. This reflects how I perceive life and human relationships, which I do not wish to distort.
Of Moroccan and Egyptian descent, the use of ceramics for utilitarian or decorative purposes is deeply rooted in my history.
I am passionate about feeling free in my practice, while respecting my values without feeling constrained. The relationship with the client is also very important. Indeed, I tend to value the creation of pieces after several exchanges regarding their desires, criteria, and constraints for the project, which enhances the uniqueness of the piece.
This is why my production of pieces is quite varied, although there seems to be a common thread linking them.
Organic colors and different textures distinguish the pieces and create a grouped beauty when assembled together.
Thank you.
